Marshall Arts are pleased to confirm that The Overtones - a 5 piece, male vocal group - will support Peter Andre, on all his upcoming UK tour dates.
Billed as "the UK's hottest new male vocal harmony group", The Overtones are a London based group who have all previously worked as painters and decorators! Discovered whilst drinking tea and having a sing-song by a Warner Music talent scout, the boys were immediately signed to a major record deal. It took just 3 months to record their first album and their repertoire includes a speciality in music from the 50's and 60's. The boys hail from all over the UK, plus one from Australia and come together with a very authentic and relevant sound.
Tipped as "the Take That of Doo-Wop" (The Sun), we look forward to seeing these boys on stage, warming up the crowd before Peter's performances around the UK next month!

Peter Andre, born Peter James Andrea, began his life on the 27th February 1973 at Northwick Park Hospital in London, England. He is the youngest of his four brothers Andrew, Chris, Danny, Michael and his sister Debbie.
Peter had a desire for music from a very early age listening to the sounds of Motown, with the likes of The Jacksons and Stevie Wonder becoming a major influence in his later life both musically and personally.

Following the success of Peter’s ‘Revelation' album and subsequent album of Pete’s favourite love songs and tracks from previous albums: ‘Unconditional Love Songs', Peter has announced the release of his next new album: Accelerate.

Mr Peter Andre will return to the UK stage for a brand new, 22 date tour in
2012. He will start this tour with performances in intimate theatres around
the British Isles, kicking off on November 16 in Plymouth and ending with a
big concert in London’s O2 arena on December 4th. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10am.
Peter Andre’s 2010 arena tour was a huge success and sold over 150,000
concert tickets. In the last few years Peter has released two albums,
including the platinum selling ‘Revelation’. He has also headlined two
sell-out tours and starred in a hit television series, which was nominated
for a National Television Award. PRS (Performing Right Society) has also
awarded him the ‘Hardest Working Man in Pop’ award. Peter has returned to
the studio ready to show everyone his work on his eighth album.
On the upcoming tour, Peter said: “I am so pleased to be touring again
which is a chance for me to get close to the British public which I adore
so much. I promise it will be my best tour yet and I have a few surprises
in store...”
Pete will likely perform his much-loved hits such as ‘Mysterious Girl’ and
‘Behind Closed Doors’ and will be accompanied on stage by his band.

Peter Andre has just announced that he will extend his Up Close & Personal tour into January 2013. Peter’s upcoming UK dates will see him take to the stage in 8 more locations around the UK, from Folkestone and Bristol, to Leeds and Doncaster. Tickets for these NEW tour dates will go on sale at 10am, this Friday 20th April.
The Up Close and Personal tour follows Peter’s sell-out arena tour in Autumn 2010, which saw ticket sales of over 150,000.

Peter Andre Up Close and Personal tour extended into 2013
Due to phenomenal demand, Peter Andre has added eight new dates to tour in January 2013. The new tour will give Peter a chance to get up close and personal with his fans, with a return to many of the cities he visited on his Revelation tour in Spring 2010.
