Countdown to Elton John's 3000th concert!
Elton John’s performance on 8th October will take place at The Colossuem, Caesars Palace. The concert will be a very special celebration as this Saturday not only marks one of the first shows of The Million Dollar Piano opening season, but 2011 also marks 40 years exactly since Elton’s debut concert in Las Vegas! But most of all, we will be celebrating on October 8th as this date marks Elton’s 3000th public concert!

It has been an extraordinary and unique voyage from the first ever public concert played by Elton John, which took place on Elton's 23rd birthday, March 25 1970, at the Revolution Club in London, where he was joined on stage by Nigel Olsson on drums and Dee Murray on bass; together they formed the original Elton John Band. Since the start of Elton’s remarkable run of 3,000 LIVE concerts, he has travelled all over the globe performing his music and delighting millions of music fans with his huge back catalogue of hits.
